Scope: Demolition of building including removal of 750ton steel, 3,000m2 of glass and 3,500m3 of concrete.
Construction of a 230m long cofferdam.
Installation of 25 piles.
RC structure to 650ton of steel and 2,500m3 of ready-mix concrete.
Marine logistic support for the delivery & installation of the architectural works and the external glass cladding.
Challenges: Site in proximity of Mall and retail outlets
Multiple underwater obstruction to sheet-piles
Structure connected to existing Mall through a tunnel.
Risk of flooding
Marine logistics in urban central with limited space and access.
High environmental constraints as works were carried out in a fresh water reservoir (Marina Basin)
